Her husband, Floyd, assists with sales and is in charge of repairs and ordering parts. The couple worked at competing janitorial service companies until Barron decided to start her own business and recruited her husband. She opened Barron’s Vacuum and Cleaning Supplies in 1987 and sold vacuums and cleaning supplies to businesses. In 1993, Barron opened a storefront in Cedar Park and added ready-to-use cleaning supplies and vacuums for household use.
